As press officer for Birmingham-based charity Community Montessori (2001/2002), her work included publicising the charity’s work by sending out press releases, organising displays, such as a month-long stand at Birmingham Central Library, and taking part in open day events to raise the public’s awareness about the Montessori method of education and Community Montessori’s projects in Birmingham. These included training in fund-raising, the role of committees and general management of the charity.
She was also responsible for designing and setting up the Community Montessori website.
