St Andrews Spire in St Andrews Gardens, Worcester (taken July 2010)
After the original fifteenth century church and its spire were destroyed, a replacement was built. The main church was demolished in the 1940s but the freestanding tower and spire retained, with garden around them. This is also known as the Glover’s Needle because of the city’s industrial glove-making heritage.
